Oldupai is the Maasai word for the wild sisal plant Sansevieria ehrenbergii, which grows in the Gorge.
Other marvels in Tanzania include Mount Kilimanjaro, Lake Victoria (Africa’s largest lake), and Lake Tanganyika, the world’s longest and second deepest lake.
All of these sights are in the region of Africa’s Great Rift Valley.
