How Much Cleaner Is a Dog’s Mouth Than a Human’s Mouth and Is a Cat’s Mouth Dirty?

August 4, 2020 by Karen Hill

Whether it’s a dog, cat, human or cow mouth, they are all probably pretty similar in terms of cleanliness or dirtiness.

It’s certain that there’s not a whole lot of difference as far as bite wounds are concerned.

Mouths contain germs that can cause infections, and it would be dangerous for a child to bite a cat as well as for a cat to bite a child.

The cat’s tongue, which is used for grooming, is not any cleaner or dirtier than a dog’s tongue, although it is scratchier because of the special comb-like structures that clean the fur.
