Where can I get a stained handkerchief that has gangster John Dillinger’s blood on it?

July 31, 2020 by Karen Hill

Gruesome, yes, and also very possible to acquire a stained handkerchief that has gangster John Dillinger’s blood on it.

We do know that ghoulish souvenir hunters dipped handkerchiefs and newspapers into the pool of Dillinger’s blood on the sidewalk.

It’s possible that your grandmother was one of these ghouls, but we’d rather believe she’s joking.

Shine a light in her face and ask her: “Where was youse on the night of July 22, 1934?”

Don’t be surprised if you get a punch or a puzzled look.
