In all seriousness, the basilisk lizard got its nickname because it can walk on water.
Its feet are webbed just enough that when it’s running at fast speeds, the lizard can skate above the water line.
If the other lizards had sufficient faith, perhaps they could do it, too.
The Common Basilisk is a lizard that is found near rivers and streams in Central and South American rain forests, and is part of the corytophanid family.
It is also known as the Jesus Lizard for short.
The Basilisk lizard is named after the creature in Greek mythology that is part rooster, part snake, and part lion which could turn a man to stone by its gaze.
Kinda like Medusa in Clash of the Titans. Cool.
