Llullaillaco is a 22,057-foot peak in the Andes Mountains, between Chile and Argentina. In 1961, the remains of a three-room dwelling, built in the fifteenth century, were found near the top of the mountain. This home, the highest dwelling on earth, stood at an altitude of 21,650 feet!
