Christopher Columbus had two sons, Diego and Ferdinand, the eldest of whom (Diego) sailed with him on his fourth voyage to the New World when he was just 13 years old.
Presumably, Ferdinand ended up with a gift bearing the inscription:
“My Dad discovered the New World and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.”
