What are my Chances of Dying if I’m bitten by a Poisonous Snake?

Out of every 10 million people who are bitten by snakes, only 2.9 will die from snakebites.

That’s roughly a 1 in 3,448,276 chance.

Your chances increase if you live in a jungle in the tropics.

Of course, if you did, you’d know what to do if you were bitten by one. And perhaps more importantly, you’d know what to do to prevent getting bitten in the first place.

Common sense right?
