Where in Boston Harbor is the historical plaque for the Boston Tea Party?

Well, never underestimate “progress.”

The city has filled in so much of what was once the harbor that the actual site of the Boston Tea Party is now well on solid ground.

The historical plaque that marks the site of the Boston Tea Party is sheepishly mounted along a freeway service road several hundred yards inland from the waterfront.

Just head inland from the spurious replica ship that they’d very much like you to believe marks the genuine historical location, and keep your eyes peeled.

You’ll find it eventually.
