Which Country’s Flag Is Just a Single Block of Green and How Many People Live In Libya?

March 24, 2020 by Karen Hill

Libya’s flag is a solid green rectangle, with no design of any kind.

Green is the country’s national color, and it also indicates devotion to the Islamic religion.

Libya’s flag is the only national flag in the world with just one color and no design, or insignia.

Libya is a country located in North Africa, and has an estimated population of about 6.5 million people in 2010.

Ancient Libya was inhabited by the Neolithic Berbers from about 8000 B.C. who were skilled in the domestication of cattle and the cultivation of crops.
