There are only three words that end in “CEED”: exceed, proceed, and succeed, while liquefy, putrefy, rarefy, and stupefy are the only four words ending in “EFY.”
As for orange, purple, and silver, poets and songwriters should probably stay away from them, because there are no words in the entire English language that rhyme with them, absolutely none.
