June 26, 2020 by Karen Hill

Lake Michigan is the only Great Lake that lies completely within the United States.

The United States and Canada each have boundaries on the other four Great Lakes: Superior, Huron, Erie, and Ontario.

The province of Ontario Is the only province to touch all four of the Great Lakes that border Canada.

The Saint Lawrence River is the main outlet of these interconnected lakes, and flows through Quebec and past the Gaspé Peninsula to the northern Atlantic Ocean.
