Where does the word Daystar come from and What does Daystar mean?

The Daystar is usually Venus, though it may at times be Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, or Mercury.

At any rate it is the planet that appears in the eastern sky shortly before the sun rises, accordingly also called the morning star.
