Which conqueror captured the most land in history, Genghis Kahn or Alexander the Great?

Genghis Kahn wins, hands down, with an estimated total of 4,860,000 square miles, capturing the most land in history.

That’s twice as much land as conquered by the runner up, Alexander the Great.

In contrast, Napoleon Bonaparte conquered 720,000 square miles.
