Who was the first presidential candidate to be endorsed by TV Guide?

Ronald Reagan was the first presidential candidate to be endorsed by TV Guide.

TV Guide can also be remembered as the first print venue to publish the conservative Republican coalition’s “Contract With America,” which helped Newt Gingrich capture the House in the 1996 campaign.
